At last I found a hand mixer that was quiet! Have only used it a couple of times... did an adequate job of mixing and was definitely quieter than uncoated beaters. It will be interesting to see how long the coating lasts (will not be putting them in the dishwasher). The snap-on storage case was more trouble than worth, but maybe I had too little patience trying to "snap" it on.
