My wife and I were sick and tired of can openers that either didn't have the power required to open cans, were not able to open different types of cans, or chewed up the paper wrappings around cans without cutting the lid. We tried 4 different electric openers from different companies and finally decided to try one more - the Hamilton Beach 76607 Pop Top. Man, what a pleasant surprise! This baby does the job clean and easy every time. We love the way the top of the can simply comes off with absolutely no sharp edges. You simply lift the top off. It's quite impressive. We've had this puppy for about 2 months now and just love it. It truly is the best electric can opener we've ever tried. It looks like it's built solid and we're hoping it will last a long time. So far, this one is a winner.
