We replaced a Black & Decker Gizmo Can Opener with the Hamilton Beach 76500 Walk 'N Cut Cordless Can Opener.
Unlike the Gizmo, this is all one piece with the recharge cord plugging directly into the unit instead of a seperate charging unit. This is something we actually liked about the product.
Both my wife and I had problems using this can opener at first. We were used to placing the can opener on the can and pressing down on the blade portion to start it. I figured out this one operates in reverse from the Gizmo. You have to hold the blade steady and twist the main body upward to get it going. Once we figured this out there were no more problems.
Although it was a bit pricey for a can opener, the product is otherwise satisfactory and we are happy with the purchase.
