Customer Review: Nice, but could be improved

I already had two slow cookers/crock pots. I slow cook *A LOT*. I was looking forward to adding this as my third because it has a removable crock and had the gasket lock for travel.
I LOVE the removable crock.
The unit heats up nicely.
Three "levels" is nice.
But why did they have to have plastic handles & spoon. It cheapens it up so. The plastic is not only *plastic*, but it's flimsy plastic.
This unit would be so much nicer with additional attention paid to designing sturdier handles.
