We recently bought this product after reading reviews online and we have to agree with one of the other reviewers that this is great for "odor-intensive" cooking. We cook a lot of Indian food at home and it gets very difficult to keep the odor off if you live in a cold place where you have to keep doors and windows closed all time. We have to agree that it does help in cleaning the air and keeping most of the odor off from the areas near the kitchen and even your clothes.
Only a small glitch hat the the odor eliminating power dies off after few weeks of use.

The TrueAir Plug-Mount Odor Eliminator with Electronic Filter Replacement Indicator is an ideal appliance for any room in the house with any odor problems. Use the TrueAir Plug-Mount Odor Eliminator in the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, child's room or any room that may have offensive odors. TrueAir Plug-Mount Odor Eliminator simply plugs into any available outlet. The quiet fan pulls in the odor and returns fresh air back to the room. Odors are removed, not masked with perfumes or unnatural scents. TheTrueAir Plug-Mount Odor Eliminator has 2 cleaning speeds and an electronic indicator that tells you when to replace the filter.Equipped with a quiet fan to draw in foul air and expel clean air, this appliance reduces odors near their source, making it useful in bathrooms and the kitchen and for pets (keep it near the cat's litter box) and tobacco smoke. The on/off switch permits either normal speed or QuickClean speed for fast results. An indicator light shows the unit is operating, and a month-to-month dial serves as a filter-change reminder. The unit comes with an all-purpose carbon filter. Replacement filters are available separately, as are specialty filters for pets, tobacco, and diapers. The expected one-month filter life is with the unit running continuously; if it's turned on only occasionally, the filter should last for up to four months. The top snaps open for easy filter replacement. The unit plugs into a wall socket and works best within 6 feet of an odor source.
